This is what happens when construction work meets with overlapping pipes... I would think that when this happened, someone went "Uh oh".
The result? Tons of water... forcibly exiting the pipe and creating an impromptu fountain cum car wash to the vehicles needing to pass through this busy section that is the Nichols interchange. I was on my way to fetch Barbie when I noticed the traffic... and to my luck, I happened to be in the lane that was closest to the fountain. Since traffic was crawling, I got to find time to grab my camera to take a shot of this SNAFU.
Wonder what the guard is supposed to do here? He just seems to be standing. Oh well... at least my car got washed a bit.
