It's been a year since dad left us, and today, we celebrated by first hearing mass in San Antonio Village in Makati - then proceeded to Manila Memorial Park to visit dad's burial site.
So basically, this is us (minus me) in the picture - I was lucky enough not to have any scheduled training this day, so I could accompany Barbie, while everyone else rode the van. It was nice to see Berns and May here - as they are normally based in Cebu, then there's Dict and Tonette, mom - of course, and Ben. Aside from me, the only others not in this picture are Jude and his yaya. All in all, it was a bright enough day - a good thing, as the past few days had rain.
We had our picnic, prayed the rosary then left at around sunset to have a snack in a nearby Starbucks.
