Day 201 Oct. 26, 2012

Chilled red wine:

It's a Friday night; we're home, with nothing much to do - soooo... it's wine time again. After all, aside from unwinding after a long week, drinking red wine is one of the healthier things one can do (as opposed to other types of alcohol).

Now to make sure it's a more enjoyable experience, I made sure our wine was chilled - and as this picture clearly shows, that bottle of wine (when I took this picture) was very much chilled - not to mention, really great tasting.

We also enjoyed some green grapes and aged cheddar cheese as side dishes to go with our wine - and no, we did not finish the bottle (as least, not immediately) as I tried to make sure this bottle stretched for at least two days... not that I couldn't finish it all in one sitting, mind you - but I just wanted to drink in moderation.

Having said that, I have to say that moderation can be a really relative term - and moderation for me would be very different from the amount of wine that moderation would mean to Barbie, or ot anyone else. So let me just say that two half filled goblets of wine (and they are rather large goblets at that) are what to me construes the term moderate.
