Before I fly off to Cebu, I had to make sure I got enough time to finally set up the Christmas tree (a bit late this year, since I normally use the All Saint's and All Soul's holidays as the time to set up our tree).
If you're familiar with Barbie and my tree building technique, then you'd know that I assemble the tree - place the lights and then pass the task to Barbie. so she can pick up the responsibility - this time, focusing on the decors. But naturally, before that happens, the tree should have it's lights.
I also needed to get this done today. If not, this would have to wait for me to get back from Cebu. So yeah, now is a better time, so Barbie can already start placing decors (most likely tomorrow).
Now that my part's done, and the tree looks great, I find myself watching the lights blink, and as corny as it sounds, I also decided to play a few Christmas carols and imbibe the feel of the impending Christmas celebrations. Yup... definitely beginning to feel and hear the spirit of the yuletide.
