Unwinding:
Who says you have to spend a lot to unwind? Rather than go to a hotel or eating spot, we decided (as early as when we were still in Manila, actually) that it would be a lot cheaper - and possibly more enjoyable, if we just bought wine in the grocery and drink them in the hotel room.
All we needed was a cork screw (in case the wine was corked), and whatever snacks we could muster - in this case, some crackers and cheese... all courtesy of Marie, by the way. So Francis, Gina and I just had to show up in Marie's room to enjoy each other's company. Yeah... we rarely find time to do this in Manila (as we'd be going to our respective homes after working).
Besides, according to Marie, she needed to unwind the most - after all, she was technically working while even resting in the training room, when it was my turn to facilitate the lectures and activities. Me? I'm just glad we did not have to spend too much, after all... I needed to control my Cebu expenses to be able to get some lechon on the way home.
