Looking much better than a week or two ago, Bubbles suffered from skin rashes, due most likely to eating food that did not agree with her. This despite my making sure they (Bubbles and Buffy) eat just dog food - and a few pieces of meat form our plates.
My problem is, I can't watch them all the time, and it looks like a well meaning neighbor possibly gave Bubbles something to eat - and being the congenial dog that she is, she accepted it... hence the rashes. This forced us to have her shaved (also due to the fact that she was shedding heavily) - a necessary thing so we could treat her skin properly. It will grow back of course, in fact, this picture already shows mostly white fur beginning to grow, as opposed to all pink (or red) skins. Hopefully, this will be a lesson to her.
