Video Camera:
I've used this equipment (or various versions of it) these past years (maybe even a decade), as a way of capturing my training participants' speeches. This is most used in Presentation Dynamics - a two day training to making people become more comfortable with speaking in front of crowds - or at least, a room-full of people.
How many people have gone through this particular training? I don't know... I can't even day how many I personally coached and taught regarding this training, as it could easily go into the hundreds.
Yup, this piece of equipment is really useful in that regard, and I'm not sure it's the only manner of use in it's life in Accenture - I'm sure other people have used it for one reason or another.
Come to think of it, on a personal scale, my family has never owned a video camera... although we have had digital cameras that could record video - and my iPad can do the same, so I have to wonder... is it still something worth getting? I don't really know. I mean, I don't doubt the great possibilities of having such a gadget... but as I said, we're making do with the use of other devices' capabilities. So I don't really miss having them. Before I end, no... I was not conducting Presentation Dynamics... it was Marimel - as I was tied up with Retail. I just happen to be in Marimel's class, as mine did not have a place for me to stay in.
