This is the second consecutive year that we've joined the New Year party of my dad's clan, the Velezes - so technically it's a party organized for my dad and his siblings and cousins.
Naturally, this party now includes us... meaning me and my cousins and second cousins, plus our families.
This picture was taken by Barbie, and I chose to make it representative of my blog picture because it also shows something that rarely happens - more due to circumstance and distance... that is, us getting together with my dad. It would have been a better picture had Barbie been in it as well. Ah well... guess we can't have everything. I'm just glad the picture came out well.
