Pantry area made right:
Some floors I've seen have very pitifully small pantries that should everyone suddenly have a break all at once (admittedly a rare - but not impossible occurrence in a BPO type business)m the meager facilities would not be able to seat everyone.
Others, like this, at first glance seem to overcompensate... but I'd rather have more than less. Specially when I've got some rest times; when my co-facilitator is doing the talking, I need such places to stay - more so if the room we are using already makes us feel like sardines. Also, believe it... or not, this room can still get filled up - but at least it is able to hold a lot of people... with little need for others to seek for space to take their snacks elsewhere.
Now if only they could somehow dampen the noise factor when the room is filled. I don't expect everyone to act like it's a library... tempting as that may sound, but if only it does not sound too much like a wet market on a busy day. Then this would be a real great common room to cool one's heels. Imagine that... spacious, comfortable and preferably conducive for not just eating, but resting and relaxing.
