In what will hopefully be a new tradition, John, Stephen and I (with our families) decided to meet up and enjoy each other's company on the first day of the year!
Why not? It allows us to enjoy the day... relax and unwind after our respective evening parties. It also allowed most of us to try Maples - the higher scale Pancake House at McKinley (you can see the Santuario de San Antonio at the background).
So yeah, it hopefully means that we will be enjoying each other's company this year - and hopefully, we won't be stacking too much calories in the process. Too bad Gerry couldn't make it though. Then again, he was with John and me for yesterday's year-end lunch get together. Oh yeah... Happy New Year!
