Apparently, mom wasn't the only one with a problem - though her's was perceived to be the more immediate one until Doc's tests told us otherwise. You see, Bing bing is having some problems with her eye. Apparently, it moves in an uncoordinated manner, hence the reason my niece and nephew call her Mad Eye... with reference to a Harry Potter teacher.
Anyway, to keep her eyesight 'sane', her doctor asked her to cover one eye (in an alternating manner), as she gets to concentrate on using one eye - and said uncovered eye works normally. It's when both are being used that weird things happen to both her eyes. When I brought mom home, this is how I spotted Bing, so I whipped out my camera and told her ot say a pirate's 'Arrrrrr', which she did gamely. This picture is the result of her trying to say the pirate's 'Arrrrrr'.
