Just like the book I recently bought, I got this special issue of Time. I always want to read what the magazine has to say about choosing their person of the year. At times, I have a good idea of what they are going to say - bu it's great to read their article as well.
This particular issue had a different spin... as you can see with the cover's color. It doesn't stop there... now, the magazine also gives some exposure to the other choices that did not quite make the Person of the Year - but they are great to read. This year's choice? President Obama, when you think of all he's been through - and the victory he won; giving him another 4 years in the White House, well... let's just say the story is inspirational... not because of Obama, but because of his team - in fact, I'd say that the Person of the Year award was given to him because of his team.
Now I'm not taking away anything from the President, but I'm sure even he would agree... it's because of his team that he to got to where he is... but, let's give him his due too. He formed the team, based on his vision... and his manner for organizing... for his integrity. People follow him, not because of the money... but because of his ideas for change.
Anyway, the Time magazine's change on format and look is hopefully something it will practice moving forward. I say it's a good change too.
