It was meant to be a mini reunion of friend who hardly see each other for the past year (or years). I mean, aside from Fred, I doubt we had the opportunity to see each other - much less, as a group in one place.
Unfortunately, two of the originally planned participants could not make it, so the gathering was not as many, but it was still a great night of reconnecting and yes... enjoying good food. It was great to see Ariel and JP again, after so long a time, and it was likewise great to experience JPs spahettata - basically a pre-mixed set of spices to be cooked in olive oil, and basically, poured over pasta. Come to think of it, we had three types of pasta that evening. meat sauce with cheese, al tonno and the spaghettata surprise.
To say I was stuffed that evening would be a very large understatement. It was basically an unofficial Christmas gathering of some SAGA players of old. Too bad Carlos and Gerry were not able to make it.
