Day 181 Oct. 06, 2012

Fruits:

I'm more conscious these days of the need to have fruits as part of my regular diet... be it when I travel (in which case, I try to make sure I have a fruit platter as part of my breakfast, and I likewise buy some for my room), or when at home (at least some ready to reach bananas, papaya or grapes).

I'd eat more, if they were easily available and affordable (most are, when you think about it), and they are better snacks than many junk food. Take this fruit bowl - pre-chopped and ready to eat... this is available at groceries (in this case, Robinson's supermarket), and once in a while, when I feel like I have not had some fruits recent enough, I buy these and have them for my mid afternoon snacks. I cold easily consume two bowls of these - but am satisfied enough with one.
