These pigeons at the Piazza in McKinley Hill, are doing their best to stay dry from the rains, and that includes either staying under the tent at the middle of the open grounds, or staying above-ground, specifically under the gutter, as can be seen by this picture.
Since the rains were abating (but not totally stopping), Jinkee and I decided to have dessert at the Piazza, and we ended up at the newly opened Cara Mia to try their ice cream... specifically, their affogato. What I can say is this... as far as having a variety of desserts, Cara Mia is great - you've got ice cream and cakes and ice cream cakes - but when it comes to affogato, I'd still go to the place I frequent (Sol Gelatto) - because there, I can choose what ice cream to place as part of my affogato.
Now, it was as I awaited my dessert that I looked around and indeed spotted the pigeons - and using my telephoto lens, zoomed in on them to take this shot.
