Finally, after days of wet weather, it's dry and sunny, and naturally, our two pets take this opportunity to run around, play and sun bathe in the garage.
It was also, by coincidence, a free day for me, so I got to let them play out in the garage... after all, I don't think Ate, our house help, lets them out to play all the time. So this is a rare occasion for them to run to and from our door to the gate.
Of course, this gets even better when all the cars are gone, giving them all the space they can need to do their sprints. After such an exercise, they will just lie on the concrete to rest... or if the sun is really hot, will prefer to get back into the apartment and look for the nearest electric fan (in this case, an industrial fan) and place themselves strategically where the fan's winds are strong.
This, plus the coolness of the shade, will lull them to sleep until the feel hungry, or someone... say a noisy neighbor, wakes them from their idyllic rest.
