Red Cross training (day 2):
Its the continuation to what I did last week, and my participants' numbers have grown. This was where I also clarified a few more ideas on Leadership, while starting to inject Management ideas. These series of discussions are to make the selected Red Cross Makati Leaders, and two of John's office staff become better managers... by turning them into (clones of) Shirley.
Last time, I only had four Red Cross participants - well now they've ballooned to ten, including Shirley, yowza! Which is why I had to make some time for some catch up.
Next week will be a bit more of the same - but with more focus on the management side. I'm a bit worried because the initial number of days I planned for were four days with four hours each meeting.
What is happening is that it's becoming three hours per session - so obviously, that will be a bit beyond five meetings... most likely six. So why am I worried? Taking our current pace, i'd say six may not be enough - specially when one considers the need to discuss understanding Financial statements and doing presentations. I really don't mind, though, after all, it's my way of helping the Red Cross.
