Bloodline is the 8th in a series of books focusing on the enigmatic Sigma Force, as conceptualized and written by James Rollins. Just like his previous novels, this Sigma Force adventure is fast paced, and I could hardly put the iPad down whenever I could find time to read it.
Yes, this ebook has been with me for a few days now. Why so? Simple... I wanted to read it, but the book was not yet physically available here in our local bookstores. So... impatient me (and budget conscious me) decided to buy the ebook version - after all, I did not want to wait about two weeks before enjoying the book.
This also represents my first real purchase of any ebooks - the others I chose were interesting, but I preferred discounted (if not totally free) copies - using Amazon as my channel for such purchases. This also means I had to use my card - and I was struggling a bit to convince myself to use said card. Though this wasn't really my first e-purchase... a month or two ago, I bought some comics for 99 cents each... a no-brainer, and some for $1.99 - still a bargain of sorts, because the items on purchase were great artistic stories of the Avengers.
Anyway... regardless of purchasing style, end result is I have the book (though in Kindle iCloud reader - not the Kindle reader, per se), and will continue enjoying this - the further adventures of Commander Pierce and company.
