Memories:Nothing preserves memories like pictures (or videos), and when Barbie looked for a particular old picture of Bernice in our storage bin of all pictures, I just had to choose a lot more of these pictures - some already in some stage of fading, and try to rescue the memories by scanning them - and fixing them, using my limited photo editing skills.
I then placed them in a Facebook album for selected family and friends to enjoy. This collage is just a representation of what I scanned, and preserved digitally (specially when you consider the possibility of how some of these pictures were folded, and others showing wear and tear). In doing this, I hope to preserve these memories... not just ofr myself, but for my kids (and possibly theirs as well). It's not the best way of preserving things... but it's better than losing the memories altogether.
I may do more if this in a few days... so long as there are pictures worth preserving - and sharing.
