According to some geomancers, there are certain fruits we must have on our table to welcome prosperity in this, the first day of the Water Snake's year. So naturally, Barbie and I are willing to follow these if it will really welcome prosperity. On the other hand, if it won;t happen, then at least, we've got some healthy consumables for the next days ahead.
The tikoy (items in the red box) are gifts - also considered good luck, and here's hoping they do attract luck. the fruits are always great to have around - like I said, healthy eats for at least a day or two. So, Kung Hei Fat Choi - basically, let prosperity be in abundance, so it will be shared by all. May we all be blessed with luck and health.
