This is what I was thinking of when I placed these two pieces side by side. I was, after all, a fan of the Mad magazine cartoon depicting those wacky duo and their inane plans. So yes, this is my humble homage to those two spies.
As for the items I used, they're two pieces to my still complete set of Games of the Generals - a Filipino created game of strategy that became quite popular in the 80's. I was surprised I still have my set - a set made of the original metal pieces and wooden board. Latter versions were made of plastic (including the board). So this can be considered a collector's item these days... well, for strategy gamers anyway.
