Day 017 Apr 25, 2012

Ariel in Facilitator mode:

With Leader's Window done, my next assignment happened to be Test Design Fundamentals... whew, talking about training I've not done in a while. If Leader's window has been a long time - this one I can't even remember when last I conducted it. Some time last year - maybe almost a year ago.

Well, the beauty of having this Project 365 is that I could positively find out. All I need do is review the pictures of my past two years, and - on the assumption of course, of my posting a picture about it, I can pinpoint when I did this training last.

For now though, I will just continue...

Ariel's first joining us was around some time last year, and one of his first sit-in sessions was with me (and either Fiel or Tess, I think), and according to him, it was this same training he attended (which bolsters the fact that I did conduct it last year - though it's quite unclear as to whether that was my last conduct of this course). Anyway, one year later and back to the present, it is Ariel partnering with me to conduct this course. It's three days of concepts and knowledge sharing... it could have been better... but due to logistics sensitivity and our not being given authority to update items, the training conduct can't be improved to it's supposed potential.

The good thing is, Ariel managed everyone's expectations regarding the course's shortcomings. Add to that, his becoming a testing bootcamp facilitator, and he showed impeccable knowledge of testing... even I was surprised at the depth of his capability to explain the process and steps for the class' benefit from both a macro and a micro viewpoint - something that I'm sure the participants would readily appreciate and understand... assuming, of course, that they were listening.
