It's nice to see friends in between our respective busy schedules - and this night is no exception. Fred invited us to have dinner with him - his birthday treat, and we went to Robinson's Galeria, meeting a few friends while the dinner was happening.
Since opportunities like this happen rarer than I like, it was really a treat to be able to meet old friends and hang around. Sure, it wasn't like we could party all night - or as loud as some old parties. No drinking of alcohol too, after all... I'm sure we've all got other stuff to do the next day... and despite her smile, Bernice wasn't really feeling too well. Oh yeah, and of course, Fred and his girlfriend - Clorian, still had jobs to attend to. Nighttime work... another thing that makes these get togethers more difficult. But the bottom like of working too hard? Forgetting what the date is and accepting work - thinking the get together for today was for tomorrow. Yes, that happened here too. He he he.
